Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Bergen. Upon arrival at Bergen Airport, you'll be met by a private driver and driven to your hotel in the city. The afternoon is yours to spend exploring this picturesque city. We suggest taking a stroll through the cobbled lanes of Bryggen, Bergen's old town.
Today, embark on a three-hour privately guided gastronomic tour. On foot with your guide, you'll visit some of Bergen's top culinary spots for tastings as you learn about Norwegian cuisine and the local delicacies.
Explore the fjord scenery with your private driver-guide today as you travel from Bergen to Balestrand, visiting many waterfalls, viewpoints and villages along the way. The last part of the journey takes you on a ferry across Sognefjord, allowing you to enjoy the fjord from a different perspective.
Join a shared kayaking tour today, paddling on Sognefjord and a smaller branch to enjoy the spectacular scenery — and possibly marine wildlife — from the water. The delicate pastoral beauty is sharply juxtaposed against the backdrop of rugged, snow-topped mountains and imposing glaciers. You’ll explore the region with your private driver-guide, learning about cider production, meeting an apple farmer and, of course, enjoying a tasting.
Travel back to Bergen today via a relaxing cruise through the fjords. This is a leisurely journey, allowing you to soak up the scenery of Sognefjord and later, the myriad of tiny islands and skerries as you approach Bergen. Once in Bergen, enjoy a final afternoon in the city.
